Mini implants are mostly one-piece “screws” that are inserted into the jaw, usually in the frontal (front) part of the lower jaw.
Mini implants are suitable for:
- When you miss a lot of teeth or don’t have any at all,
- When your jaw does not have enough width – height – and thickness to install a sufficient number of standard implants and thus get a fixed compensation – a bridge.
- When your jaw can do all this but you are not material capable of fixed work.
Then we suggest you a cheaper – cheaper mobile replacement – a prosthesis that will be supported with several mini implants.
After a few weeks, prostheses can be made that will “buckle” with that mini impl. And so gain stability and give a comfortable feeling when chewing. Without fear that the prosthesis will move, itch or interfere with speech.
